Meeting Point

We'll meet at Osterley Underground at 10:30am (zone 4). You can access to this station using your Oyster Card or Contactless card.

This walk is covered by our Club's insurance. Our Club is registered on The British Mountaineering Council (BMC)

Transport

Osterley Station is on the Heathrow branch of the Piccadilly Line. Journey time is 17 minutes from Hammersmith and 32 minutes from Green Park. Hanwell is on the Reading arm of Crossrail and journey time to Paddington is 15 minutes. Both stations are in Zone 4.

Details

Osterley Park, Tentelow Woodland, Grand Junction Canal, Hanwell Flight of Locks, River Brent, a riverside meadow and the stunning Wharncliffe Viaduct.

How to find us

Food

We'll stop during the hike for a snack lunch so please bring food and drink. We’ll visit a pub after the hike where we can get refreshments.

What to Bring

  • Suitable hiking clothes & hiking footwear, ideally hiking boots.
  • Water (at least 1 and ideally 2 litres)
  • Packed lunch/picnic
  • Money for drinks and refreshments after the hike

Dog

Dogs can use this trail as well, but must be on a leash.
