Trekking amidst the mountains is a wonderful way to relish the scenery without the need for complex rope work and equipment that comes with steeper terrain. Only British Mountain Guides who are qualified under the International Federation of Mountain Guides Association (IFMGA) are authorized to traverse glaciers in the Alps.

Hiking in London Club

Hiking in London Club is a unique and original association that offers a blend of classic and innovative hiking and leisure expeditions. Our itineraries are meticulously crafted by the Walking Club, National Trust, and our seasoned guides to create a healthy and enjoyable environment. Our objective is to offer a distinctive encounter with nature, where you can share unforgettable moments with like-minded individuals. We explore uncharted paths leading us through stunning landscapes and unexpected destinations.

Senderismo en Londres Club was founded in July 2016, although its roots date back to 2015 when a group of six friends (Aitor, Maria, Thomas, Anna, Raul, and Guillermo) organized various trips in the UK. In 2016, the group formalized its activities and registered as a sports club, expanding its offerings to include water sports and other adventure activities, and securing accident insurance. The club is currently in the process of becoming a Sports Federation Club in Great Britain.

Our membership consists of a diverse group of individuals, primarily aged between mid-twenties to over 40, mostly hailing from the London area but open to individuals from across the UK. Many members join the club to escape the city on weekends and explore the great outdoors while connecting with others who share a similar passion.

We welcome individuals of all levels of experience. The only prerequisite is that you have appropriate clothing and equipment for your safety and enjoyment. Joining the club is easy, with no membership fees or formal processes. All individuals over the age of 18 are welcome to attend our events. New expeditions are added frequently, and spaces can fill up quickly, so make sure to stay informed by liking our Facebook page or subscribing to our Email Newsletter (found at the bottom of our contact us page). After attending three events without registering, membership is mandatory for us to provide better services.

To reserve a spot on an event, use our online shopping cart. Payments are processed through PayPal's secure website, and you do not need a PayPal account to use it. Most debit and credit cards are accepted. We do not accept cash, but payments can be made through our club bank account by transfer or deposit. If an event is fully booked, you may register for the waiting list, and we will notify you if a space becomes available. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
