We'll meet at East Finchley at 10:30am and leave the meeting point at 10:40am.

TRAVEL

Transport East Finchley and Highgate Stations are in Zone 3 on the High Barnet Branch of the Northern Line. Journey time from Bank is 24 and 21 minutes respectively.

Details

In contrast, Queen’s Wood displays a fine mixture of wildflowers in several parts of the wood, amongst which are bluebells, wood anenomes and daffodils.
Queen’s Wood has a wilder, less managed and more challenging feel and consequently features a greater mixture of flora and fauna.
Both woods feature ancient – possibly pre-historic – earthworks

FOOD

We will stop during the hike for a snack lunch, so please bring food and drink. We will visit a pub after the hike where we can get refreshments.

COST

The cost includes the guided hike and the Club's insurance.

Suitable hiking clothes & hiking footwear, ideally hiking boots, waterproof jacket, trousers and footwear are recommended.
