Details
Step into Surrey's diverse landscape through the Farnham Circular hike, spanning 16.2km (10.1 miles). While Surrey might evoke visions of charming villages and verdant pastures, this hike provides a much richer tapestry. The initial leg mirrors Surrey's conventional charm, but post-lunch, prepare to be enchanted by the wild and untamed Surrey heathlands. The rich tapestry of woods and vibrant heather-laden moors is particularly resplendent from late July to September when the heather blossoms.
Historical Significance
Loseley Park, a paragon of Elizabethan architecture, is a sight to behold. Also, take the opportunity to immerse yourself in the artistic splendor of the 19th-century maestro, George Frederick Watts, at the Watts Gallery. The adjoining Watts Chapel, an architectural masterpiece, stands as a testament to timeless design.
Embark on this journey to traverse time and revel in the unspoiled beauty of Surrey's vast landscapes.
