Transport & Meeting Details:

We will convene at the London King Cross station starting at 09:00 am, and we will depart from the station at 09:10 am.

Our estimated return to London is set for 9:00 pm. Please note: We have purchased a group train ticket, thus committing all attendees to remain with the group for the day.

For peace of mind, our walk is insured through our club's policy. We're proudly affiliated with The British Mountaineering Council (BMC).

Refresh and Refuel

We'll be taking a break for a light snack lunch during our hike. Kindly bring your own snacks and drinks. After our adventure, we'll head to a local pub to wind down and enjoy some refreshments.

Costs Involved:

  • Members: £30
  • Non-members: £38

Our planned return time to London is 21:00 pm. We’ve arranged group train tickets, ensuring we all depart and return to the same station collectively. If you have plans to return independently, please purchase your individual train ticket.

The fee includes a professionally guided hike and round-trip train fare from the group's departure station highlighted at the beginning of this event.

Packing Essentials

  • Appropriate hiking attire and footwear (hiking boots are best). Weatherproof gear, including a jacket, trousers, and shoes, is recommended.
  • Hydration is crucial – carry at least 1 to 2 litres of water.
  • Prepare a packed lunch or picnic.
  • Some cash for post-hike drinks and treats.
  • Leave the rest to us! We'll manage train tickets, day's logistics, and more to ensure you have an unforgettable day out.
