TRANSPORT & MEETING POINT

We'll meet at London Victoria station, at 9:15am. next to the ticket office, opposite WHSmith and Boots. We move from the Meeting Point at 9:25am.

Planned arrival time back into London of 9:30pm (we have a group train ticket, and you are committed for the day until then).

This walk is covered by our Club's insurance. Our Club is registered on The British Mountaineering Council (BMC)

Hassocks to Lewes: A South Downs Gem via Plumpton

Embark on a picturesque journey from Hassocks to Lewes via the heart of South Downs Way, passing through the quaint village of Plumpton. Begin in Hassocks, surrounded by the mesmerizing landscapes of the Downs. As the trail unfolds, Plumpton offers a brief respite, hinting at its wine heritage. Pressing forward, the iconic white cliffs and expansive views of South Downs Way captivate the senses, leading to the historic town of Lewes. This trail, blending nature and culture, promises a brief yet unforgettable hiking escapade.

Food

We will stop during the hike for a snack lunch so please bring food and drink. We will visit a pub after the hike where we can get refreshments.

Cost and Price

The cost includes the guided hike, the transport to the group departure station listed at the top of this event and the Club's insurance.
