A spectacular route through this magnificent park features a steady ascent through the forest to a prominent viewpoint on Reigate Hill.

The breathtaking vistas continue as you journey along the crest of the North Downs. The Reigate Fort stands as a testament to its historical significance as a defense line protecting the capital.

The culmination of the trek offers a short loop behind the grandstand, providing a panoramic view of the London skyline.

TRANSPORT & MEETING POINT

We'll meet at London Bridge station , by the Shard entrance, at 8:30am. (Next to Redwood Sports Pub & Kitchen)

Expected return time to London: 6:30pm. Please note: we have a group train ticket, and you are committed to staying with the group until this time.

This hike is insured by our club's policy. Our Club is affiliated with The British Mountaineering Council (BMC).

How to Find Us

Maria will be at the meeting point detailed in the section "Transport and Meeting Point" below. In case of difficulties locating her, you can call her on 07535295739.

Food

We'll stop during the hike for a snack lunch, so please bring food and drink. We’ll visit a pub after the hike where we can get refreshments.

Cost

The cost includes the guided hike and return train travel from the group departure station listed at the top of this event.

Dog

Dogs can use this trail as well, but must be on a leash.

What to Bring

  • Suitable hiking clothes & hiking footwear (ideally hiking boots) and a waterproof jacket.
  • Water (at least 1 and ideally 2 litres).
  • Packed lunch/picnic.
  • Money for drinks and refreshments after the hike.
  • That's it! We will take care of train tickets, logistics on the day, etc., so that you can just turn up and have a great day!
