Join us for this superb opportunity to spend a weekend exploring the spectacular South West Coast path, traversing the Jurassic Coast in Dorset. The Jurassic Coast has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, due to the fascinating history of this region. At this time of year our walks will be very pretty, and we will pass by summer flowers in meadows and stunning geological features, enjoying the fresh sea air all along the way on both days.

NOTA: Event limited to the first 12 attendees that formalize their place.

Walking

Walking the South West Coast Path at Lulworth Cove is a brilliant experience, offering stunning views across the Jurassic Coast.
This brings you to the incredible geological formations of Worbarrow Bay and the mysteriously abandoned village of Tyneham. To the west is the iconic Durdle Door, and further afield the lovely coastal hamlets of Osmington Mills and Ringstead.

Saturday

We will strike out to the east, along the coast and up over the pretty cliffs in the direction of Lulworth Cove. The walk is 14 km long, and heads over a number of cliffs along the way.

Sunday

Fuelled up on a good breakfast, we head out for today’s 12 km walk, following the spectacular undulating coastal path, to the unique Old Harry Rocks, and after that, a short ferry trip!!

Description

Details

We can enjoy photographing the spectacular coastal scenery before reaching the interesting geological feature of Durdle Door, and dropping down into Lulworth Cove, a deep blue water jewel along this lovely stretch of coastline. If we arrive in good time and if the weather permits, there may be the chance to go for a swim.

We also have the opportunity to visit the Old Harry Rocks, a spectacular cliff formation and one of the best places to visit on the Jurassic Coast.
