Description

Details

A circular walk from Ruislip, Middlesex. The walking route heads north past the site of an old castle to reach Ruislip Woods, a beautiful mixed woodland and National Nature Reserve. Lots of samples to see plenty of wildlife with the woodland being home to everything from badgers and foxes, to woodpeckers, squirrels and owls.

The walk has just a couple of long but steady gradients. The woodland paths are all fairly wide but they are uneven with roots and can get very muddy after periods of rain and in the winter. There is one single gate on route and no stiles.

Some parts after a wet weather can get muddy and very slippery, so have to prepare proper footwear for this adventure.

Dog Walkers are allowed to come to this ride.

Mixing all the possibilities, this can be a good choice for a family ride on a monday.
