Sunday walk, ideal for beginner walkers!

Enjoy Epping Forest on this 9 km trail with some slight inclination on the way but definitely worth the adventure.

This is without a doubt one of the best spots near London if you want to escape the urban jungle life and enjoy a calm nature trip.

Epping Forest has beautiful scenic attractions, diverse wildlife, lakes, many outdoor activities. It's accessible for walkers of all abilities, families with children or seniors, and anyone else looking to explore this magical ancient royal hunting woodland forest.

This is also a great spot to take your dog for an adventure and have a great day out relaxing and making the most of what this magical place has to offer.

Transport & Meeting Point

We'll meet at Chingford Station at 10:30. You can access this station using your Oyster Card or Contactless card.

Food

We'll stop during the hike for a snack lunch so please bring food and drink. We’ll visit a pub after the hike where we can get refreshments.

  • Suitable hiking clothes & hiking footwear, ideally hiking boots.
  • Water (at least 1 and ideally 2 litres)
  • Packed lunch/picnic
  • Money for drinks and refreshments after the hike

Dog

Dogs can use this trail as well, but must be on a leash.
