Why is it special? The views along the way are absolutely breathtaking. It is also relatively quiet so you will have plenty of peace and quiet along the way.

How long does it take? About 12 hours for an experienced hiker with good fitness.

    Jump on a flight to Ljubljana and meet your airport transfer for the short journey to Bled. You'll be whisked away to check in to your overnight accommodation at the Hostel . Spend the afternoon/evening exploring this incredible town. If you don't fancy one of the town's numerous restaurants.

    DAY 2: To the highest peaks and Julian Alps

    Once you reach the top, time stops. Here, mountains rise over 2500 metres, thus making the Julian Alps the highest mountain range in Slovenia. At 2864 metres, Mt. Triglav is the highest mountain in Slovenia. on the way to triglav we will see the mountains Rjavina and Macesnovec and the valley Zgornja Radovna.

    DAY 3: Kozjak waterfalls recommended by National Geographic

    The Kozjak Waterfall was singled out as especially worth seeing. The walking route Alpe Adria Trail connecting Austria, Slovenia and Italy was ranked among 10 of the Best New Walking Trails in the world. We will also see this other waterfall Peričnik with its 52m one of the highest among Slovenian waterfalls. There is a marked trail leading to it from Mojstrana.

    DAY 4: Soca valley Adventure

    Get in genuine touch with nature on the Soča Trail, The Soča Trail is a nature trail taking visitors to the Triglav National Park along the Soča river from its source towards Bovec.

    The trail is easy to follow and is 25 km long.

    Day 5: TOURIST DAY

    We will visit the best corners of Slovenia and we will give a good account of its gastronomy.

    All our adventures take place in wild places. Things can go wrong in wild places. Your perfectly planned itinerary may change a bit (or a lot) if the weather turns, someone gets hurt, or a volcano erupts. Usually though, changes make it all the better.

    ACCOMMODATION mountain shelter

    For the trek, you will be staying in Kredarica mountain hut on the slopes of Mount Triglav. The hut is basic but comfortable, with dormitory-style bunks, electricity, water, central heating, and a restaurant serving a range of foods. Beds are equipped with pillows, sheets and blankets.


    Ljubljana Airport - 11:30
    Your adventure begins at Ljubljana Airport (LJU) with an airport transfer at your preferred time departing at 11:30. Please schedule your flight to arrive more than 30 minutes before this time, your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals area.

    If you’re not able to join either transfer, you can book any flight and easily get to the start point via a 25-minute taxi ride. You will meet your guide and fellow adventurers at the Hostel Bled at 08:00 on Day 2.

    Ljubljana Airport - 10:30
    At the end of your adventure, you will be dropped back at Ljubljana Airport (LJU) at 12:30. You’re free to book any flight that departs after 12:15. Alternatively, if you would like to be dropped off in Ljubljana city centre, please let your host know when booking.


    • Suitable hiking clothes & hiking footwear (ideally hiking boots). Waterproof jacket, trousers and footwear are recommended
    • Water (at least 1 and ideally 2 litres)
    • Packed lunch/picnic
    • Money for drinks and refreshments after the hike
    • That's it! We will take care of train tickets, logistics on the day etc, so that you can just turn up and have a great day :-)
